One of the decisions any new parent must make is how long a child should be placed in daycare and when the right time is to then place the child in school. Depending on the intelligence level of the child and the area in which the family lives, there may be different options for childcare and for children who are old enough for pre-school but aren't significantly emotionally developed, there are options such as half-day schooling where a child will attend school for around three or four hours and then be released to go home or into another care facility.
